CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This might come as a surprise, but I have never tested it. I would guess it's something between zero and maximum velocity of pigeon.

From style point of view:
Neutral. I don't have such clothes myself, but they can look fine.
From practical point of view:
I usually like to be able to roll my sleeves, so it would be a bit negative twist having to first remove thumb from the hole.
In extreme conditions:
Army had those in winter clothing shirts, I found it nice in winter conditions because it kept wrists warm better when spending long times outside when it was very cold. Based on that experience, I would like to have that kind of shirts for Arctic expedition if I for some miraculous reason ever end up going for one.

Years ago, I was fishing on some island at northern end of the Norway, but I can't remember it's name. I think that's about as far north as it's possible to go while still sticking inside Scandinavia. I've been in Lapland of Finland too.

Nope, closest one to Africa would be Israel, I've been in Israel when I was a teenager. Does it count? It's pretty close.

I don't actually have one, because it's so situational. Certain foods are associated with certain situations and I can't say which one of those I like most.

I would recommend going to Lapland, I think it's most popular area in Finland to visit by tourists. If you like to have snowball war, see the northern lights and generally freeze outside, then definetly go there at winter.
Japanese tourists are known to go to Lapland at winter and sleep outside in tents there. I guess it's something they find fun but I feel it's a bit odd to prefer to sleep outside at winter, it's rather cold out there at winter, like -20 to -35 celcius.

How was you Christmas and New Year?
It was good. At Christmas I met my relatives whom I don't see that much usually and we ate well. I took new year pretty easy, I was watching fireworks in the city from nearby hill.
OT: do you have AMA? I would like to ask you the same question
