Should Icewind Dale and Baldurs Gate be considered evil and unfit for christians?
Baldur's Gate should be considered a poor game to play in general (please, please, no flames. I liked it too when it came out because of the innovation, but you must admit that the plot isn't very great, the sidequests are annoying, and the engine does as it does to improve it, so it's very hard to play nowadays).

As for Icewind Dale, I can't see why it would be evil. I mean, you're FIGHTING demons, correct?

The infinity engine used for the games has gone by the wayside. However, if you look at what RPGs there were before Baldur's Gate you'll see that it was the best thing to come out in years. It was fantastic for its time.

IWD is good ol' hack-n-slash.
I believe Diablo I and II use the infinity engine also.

Evil?
Naah.
They're about as evil as my stinky little pinky finger.

I like baldurs gate 2. Its a fun game(im more of a console gamer though). I think that its ok as long as you are one of the good characters i try to stray from being like summoners and like magic users because they seem a little satanic. I havent really played the other one.
