I never had collected anything before either. But you're right, it's just such a lovely collection. I had mine displayed on our entertainment center for a few years. I finally bought a curio cabinet for it.

I don't think I'll be getting any more chapters though. I'd love to but I just don't have the room to display it. :sigh:

Hey, I see you're new to CF. Welcome! You should come over to the Recreation Room and meet some fun people!

I ended up having to get the majority of my pieces on Ebay. The later chapters are the hardest to find, though, because there were so few of them made before Cast Art closed its doors. I had hoped that Susan Reader would continue with the line, although I don't have any more room either! I bought a large curio cabinet as well, and although its a little tight, all 153 (I think that's how many there are) fit in it just beautifully. My husband just shakes his head, but because he loves me he's thrilled that it makes me happy. When I was little, I dreamed of living in a place just like Ivy Village! And I would be glad to go to the rec room, but I have no idea how to get there! :)

I paid $200 for the Bread & Pastries Bakery. I've seen the grande hotel & the opera house fetch more than $150 each... Ribbons & Bows (the building alone) went for $175 about 3 months ago. Yikes! I was willing to part with that HUGE amount for the bakery just because it was the very last piece to complete the collection, and I intended to have it no matter what! LOL

I have the full collection of Ivy & Innocence and the Ivy Cove...approx 150 items...I am interested in selling the whole collection and would like to contact Susan Reader to see if she would like to purchase it...or if someone is interested in the whole collection. I do not want to sell each piece individually...

I have the entire collection- Chapters 1 til 9 and also have 2 Christmas chapters. All Chapters include their bases. They are in excellent condition. I am willing to sell them by Chapter or the entire collection if anyone is interested. (I am not willing to sell them piece by piece.)

I also have the members only pieces- the welcome sign, towering cottage, etc.

I wish to send out greetings and happy holiday wishes to everyone.
I am planning to introduce a few new items in 2015 and continue the line. I am hoping this will spur the earlier pieces to go up in value. I noticed two Chocolate Shoppes sold for $300 on ebay just in the last couple of months. I look forward to keeping in touch and am open to any ideas of shops and pieces you would like to see introduced. Just post your thoughts & suggestions. I would love to read them.

Sincerely,
Susan Reader

Friend of Ivy,
I noticed several post listing about Ivy & Innocence in the Christian Forums and around the web. And because of all the lasting support over these years, I am launching a Return to Ivy Event to explore the possibility of introducing new items this May. I invite you to join us if you still have a fondness for Ivy & Innocence.

Sincerely,
Susan Reader

Hello Friends!

I am Brandi Reader, the daughter in law of Susan Reader, the artist who created Ivy & Innocence. I found this wonderful thread about her artwork, and am happy to tell you that she is reviving Ivy & Innocence!

Thanks to people like you, she has worked hard to get the workshop set up again, and has put together a few Facebook pages and a Kickstarter event to help get it back up and running. You can go to Facebook and search "Ivy & Innocence" if you'd like to learn more about the revival or would like to contribute to the cause.

Thank you all so much for your support, and God Bless!
