CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
I've noticed a HUGE difference!!!!

Seriously, HC, just take a look at some of the threads. You'll find we play games, and actually talk to and listen to each other. We support each other and, on occasion, kick each other in the pants when needed (see the accountability thread).
All in all, a great group up here.

Yeah, but I could have been there in your corner for ya! Work was good, Busy for a Saturday night. A lot going on last night, hockey game (which we sell tickets for) mardi gras parades, people come in after on the way home. It was kinda wild for a while, because we were training a few new cashiers

It is, but I don't like to go to the parades anymore. It is supposed to be for the kids, but too many aduylts look at it as a 2 day party, set up 'camps' on the parade route, and drink. Then when the parade starts, the drunks push the kids out of the way, stepping on people, etc, just for some silly beads and cups!
