CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We have a few good fellowship threads over there, plus LOTS of games too. I don't post in a couple of the fellowship threads, but that's my choice not due to any sort of cliquishness.

FAb 40's is fun. I don't worry about the cliques, because there aren't as many as there were last year. If I have a problem with a specific poster, I'll just post around them, like I do anywhere else.I, honestly, have mixed feelings about the FF section....so I think I'll just stay here mostly.

Yeah, most of the gals in there I really like......just my feelings got hurt from 1 or 2, but I'm a sensitive person anyway.

What You See Is What You Get!
There is seriously something very strange going on in the main singles forum today...I'm not trying to sound all Twilight Zone but I'm not kidding - something is going in. There are people posting things that blatently go against the word of God and when they are challenged the people doing the challenging are getting reported and shut down by the mods.
I honestly think we need to pray for all the young people involved in that board right now. That the deception that is going on with stop - that the people that were brought here to cause division amongst the body of Christ will be silenced and that Christians who are trying to speak the truth of Christ will be able to speak freely and honestly.

Yep!! And some of those are gone!! So, it's getting better!! For me anyway! There are some who have gone, I wish would come back, too. But oh well.

HFL, I only post in one thread over there and that's the Verandah. It is pretty much full of easy going people. Of course, there are always one or two, who seem to create drama whereever they go but I just don't allow them to draw me in.
For the most part, I find the Verandah a nice place to be.
Now if you just want to stay here with us, that's fine.... we don't mind keeping you all to ourselves

I prefer the Mature Singles too, but the Singles page is more active... but the Mature page is more calm, and well ... mature

I'm closer to 40 than 30....maybe I should jump ship. I'm bored out of my mind with the Singles section lately.
