I've noticed a HUGE difference!!!!

I'm pretty much staying in the Mature Singles and Fab Forties, with exception for a post here and there in the Singles section.

As we get older, I guess we just get more relaxed with 'life'. I just can't believe how stressed alot of people in their 20's and early 30's are!

I mean, I know I was also like that in my 20's, but I'm sooooooo glad I'm the age I am!!!! Things had to work out and they had to work out NOW!!

But, with age, I know to relax and take my time with 'life' and just pray and leave it up to God. Then, I no longer worry about things.

I get a headache sometimes going thru some threads in the singles section.

I know what you mean HFL. Sometimes I want to say to the youngsters 'you know, this really isn't that big an issue. Things will get better.'

I wouldn't want to go through my 20s or even early 30s again. Those of us "mature singles" have been through a lot and come out the other side and tend to like the result.

I KNOW!!! The 40's forum is soooooo much more fun than the 30's!!! I'd welcome you with open arms if you want to post there too!

I feel exactly the same!!!! You couldn't pay me enuff to relive my 20's, I was such a drama queen and a mess!!!!

Yep! Anyone can post in there - it's not like the WD or the Men's forum where you're blocked from posting.

I'm getting tired of the main singles forum too...just some people are pretty immature - others aren't and I like posting with them but some are just getting on my last nerve.

I say just start posting. There is a fellowship thread called Verandah Fellowship. I say start posting in there and then HopeFaithLove4u, hope4today and grammybear and I can welcome you and back you up for posting in the 40's forum.

The people there are really nice and I don't think anyone would have a problem with you posting there.

Ok...one of the side effects of the meds I'm on for my back is extreme irritability - along with some other things that I'm not going to share here...anyways, I think the irritability is kicking in.

I'm just getting really frustrated with some of the people who are posting below in the main singles forum. Is it just me or does it seem that the immaturity has reached an all new high! I'm just blown away by the cockiness, the assumptiveness and the lack of emotional intelligence being displayed in some of the threads.

I really do think it is just a few people and not the majority but man some of them are getting on my last nerve!

Yeah...it's hard for me sometimes to keep my mouth shut or should I say fingers quiet...sometimes I just want to tell them exactly what I think but I know that it really won't do any good cause the ones I want to tell wouldn't listen.

I'm trying to post more in the Fab 40's, here and venturing into the Women's Discussion area as well but I have to say that I enjoy the Mature Singles the most!

LIke I said, I left my 40's almost 2 years ago, and they still let me post there! I have made a LOT of good friends there!
