I've just quit smoking

I just quit smoking 2 days ago and i'm driving myself crazy. I'm looking for a "quit smoking buddy". Looking for support and looking to give support. I'm also a "newbee to these sights.

Hi Fox, welcome to CF, this is a great place to be! I stopped smoking 4 days ago and giving God the glory I have been doing great! I read a book called 'Allen Carr's easy Way To Stop Smoking' before I quit that I would highly recommend that you read if possible.
It gives you a whole different outlook and helps you to really see the myths behind smoking,we think it relaxes us but really it doesn't, it increases our heart rate, and the only time we are relaxed is when we light up to get rid of that nicodemon on our shoulder telling us to...if you starve him long enough he will go away!
"Goggle" in stop smoking there are many sites with great information and support.
I will pray for you,and I am here for you, if there is any thing I can do please just ask.
God bless you keep up the good work,and when your feeling down about not being able to smoke,switch the thinking and praise God that you no longer have to be a slave to this aweful addiction,the physical rewards are incredible! Hey, I read that book also...
I think there is something ineth book that self hypnotizes you or something...
Whatever it is bring it because it is working
I actually lit up like a complete buffoon 1 week into being smoke-free...(read my other posts) anyways it was so horrid I put it out after two tokes...
I chalk that up to me being hypnotized by that book
whatever it is I'm cool with it...
Anyways, that book is pretty funny because the whole time I am totally waiting for some insightful hint on how to quit, and the duder in the book is like "Just decide it is your last cigarette, AND DON'T SMOKE anymore..."
Genius...
Anys, I do thank God for hooking me up on this one...
I have always envied non-smokers
with the grace of God I can stay a card carrying member,
I pray the same for all of you...

Hey, I just quit last monday so 7 days in now. I also have very bad panic attacks so this has not been easy a friend to help get through this would be great!!!!

Hey! Let the good times roll. When I asked GOD in prayer that I wanted to stop smoking.I did not expect the the answer I got. The answer has given me a reason not start over. GOD replied the we are created in HIS image.We were given dominion over all of the earth. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. GOD has given us free will.Satan is envious of us and seeks to rob,steal,or destroy us by various means. Smoking is one is one of those ways. As a former smoker myself I will be in prayer that GOD wil reveal to you as he did to me.
