But is it up to us to decide who and to broadcast our opinion on the matter? Seems to me that could make us one of those He would hate. We should try to deal with others in love and let God determine each one's fate. Screaming that "God hates ****" does not make it so. It only shows a petty human's view on the matter and what they think God's view should be.

Believe it or not, I actually talked to Phelps once, via e-mail.

"I said, "How many homosexuals have you converted via your 'ministry?",and "how many people have you brought to Christ through your picketing?"

His reponse- verbatim. "Who cares?" Then he called me a hypocrite and said some things I can't repeat in polite company.

I shouldn't have bothered.

I don't understand why they hate so many people including the soldiers giving their lives in Iraq.

As for God hating gays, He loved them enough to take all their sins on the cross and suffer their punishment for them. That's called real love.
