I'm in Texas.

This area has seen a lot of fires lately and there has been quite a big drought -- we are something like 12 inches below normal for this time of year! A week or so ago I was sitting in the den and smelled smoke. I thought something nearby was on fire, but it turned out to be a grass fire that had spread to some nearby cars, in the town south of us.

The sound of rain today is truly a blessing from God!
