For all who are interested, the weather here (I live in the city next to PurpleBunny) is supposed to be dry all day and the sun will come out later. It shouldn't be too hot so it's a perfect day for a wedding! Sarah, you'll have to tell us all about your wedding when you get all settled into your new apartment!

Tee hee! Honeymoon is next week and involves much driving and another wedding. This week is getting settled in our apartment and unpacking about half the wedding gifts (it'll take another trip to get the rest up here--fortunately we're doing a second trip!).

The wedding was wonderful... I'm in the midst of journalling it so I'll transcribe it here when I get the chance. I couldn't see Chris' face when I was walking down the aisle--my own eyes were too blurred with happy tears, though I did get myself under control by the time I reached him.

We have some great pictures of our classic car, I believe. I should have some great photos to share with you after the honeymoon--my photographer went on vacation right after the wedding so it'll be a week or so until we get our pics. I may steal the ones that our Best Woman posted on her online journal in a day or two, though.

Thanks for your good wishes, everyone! Aside from my body totally not cooperating with regards to period (it arrived during the reception but I caught it before there was a wedding dress disaster), everything has been lovely. (And this may be TMI, but Chris didn't really care whether I had it or not LOL ... we've been happily behaving like newlyweds.)

Oh yeah... we stopped at a bookstore and I bought Harry Potter in my wedding dress!

The closest thing I've done to your Harry Potter/wedding dress thing is going to a convienence store on my prom night, all of us in our tuxes and evening gowns.
