i think i just miss MD weather... i got used to it, after living there my whole life... so now any change (especially palm trees at christmas!) seems wrong.

Anywhere that's not surrounded by evergreen trees always seem weird to me. I've grown up knowing no scenery but mountains and trees. I can't imgine having palm trees instead of pine trees!

/me ... well, his dad, anyway! .. has a cabin in the mountains, the Sierra Nevadas in fact, which is most definitely in the forest... in a national forest, in fact... er, the Tahoe National Forest he guesses, but he's not sure, he can't remember the name, and this is a big run-on sentence.

i have a little 2ft tall tree my roommate's parents sent her for right now, and when i go home next week we have a big normal tree at my house... where, incidentally, it snowed last night and i missed it. stupid FL weather! lol
