It's Partially True About Rush Limbaugh

Rush said on his radio show today that he has had an addiction to pain killers for about 6 years due to back surgery and two herniated discs in his neck.

He will be off the air for 30 days while he is in a clinic. Guest hosts will carry on his show in his absence.

He did not talk about any legal matters as the authorities have asked him not to do so. But he did say there are inaccuracies in the stories about the legal matter.

He asked for our prayers. I would hope we would all act like Christians about this and pray for his recovery from the addiction to pain killers. After all, but for the grace of God, goes you and me.

Amen,Father in Jesus name I ask that you hold rush in your hands and set him free from every addiction by your power and you spirit, let your anointing be all over him cleansing and making whole his body, I come against every evil spirit of drugs and addiction that has come against rush, I release the anointing to break your power and stronghold over his body , and that by the stripes of Jesus Rush is restored and healed, thank you Jesus for being there with him in his time of troubles and for healing him, most of all thank you for drawing him closer to you in his relationship with you Amen

I hope Rush overcomes his addiction and recovers fully. However, it's too bad not all drug addicts receive the same sympathy. If I recall correctly, Rush was critical of drug addicts and even advocated jail for such people (in retrospect, this sounds hypocritcal). Hopefully, this will help people see drug addicts need help, not jail.

Getting hooked on pain killers after surgery is different than people who started out on illegal drugs. Rush has my prayers and sympathies.

If you have ever had back problems - Back pain makes it hard to do anything!!

Addition to pain killers resulting from a failed surgery is alot different than being addicted to crack.

Not that it makes it right.
