By ordering the execution of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, the Florida judicial system has attempted to put to death a moral code based on the Ten Commandments and substituted atheistic materialism. It has made a mockery of the Hippocratic Oath, "Do no harm." For a judge to order two policemen and a lawyer to protect his order is clear evidence that all parties involved know that they are committing murder.
This 39-year-old woman committed no crime, neither civil nor criminal. The circumstances surrounding her injuries are clouded: there is some question as to whether the injuries were inflicted by her husband. The fact that he has ordered her remains to be cremated upon her death supports this suspicion.
It remains unclear why he did not divorce her and leave her support to her parents, who care deeply about her. He has been shacked up with some bimbo and gotten her pregnant twice since Terris mysterious brain damage. A normal man who wanted to get on with his life would have divorced and moved on.
One can only speculate that perhaps Mr. Schiavo tried to kill her 13 years ago, failed, and now must have the complicity of the court to finish off the job. He sued and received over $1,000,000 for her. He then ordered nothing be done for her, not even a course of antibiotics for an infection, expecting her to die. Now he has persuaded the court that she must be dehydrated and starved to death.
The court is one of which Stalin and Hitler could be proud. This horrifying abuse of power would make them jealous by the ease with which it has been accomplished. It is not an isolated case of death by starvation/dehydration. Live babies who were supposed to die during an abortion can get the same treatment. Terri has been blessed with a devoted family.
For the judicial system to have taken on the case and sided with this sociopathic husband speaks volumes about the court. It is not barbaric: it is sub-human. For all those to whom the Schindlers have appealed for help to stand around wringing their hands yet do nothing to prevent this unjustified homicide is to have opened the floodgates for the wanton murder of all unwanted humans. The Florida judiciary has usurped power and is abusing it without the consent of the governed.
If a society is judged by how it treats its weakest members, these Florida judges and pro-death advocates can be judged by their actions as evil. The Florida legislature, to their credit, provided a majority who passed last-minute protective legislation for Terri.
However, we are not done with this issue. How many retirees will continue to risk their lives by going to Florida when there are such narrow protections? Better to pay a tax in another state than to be lured into such a potentially tangled web.
Dangling chads arent the problem, disposable morality is. The judiciary should care about Terri Schindler-Schiavo as much as they did about the dangling chads. They should also care about how her medical trust funds have been exploited by sadistic ideologues, dressed as lawyers and doctors, promoting legalized homicide. So should the mainstream media.
This case must give pause in the headlong rush for socialized medicine. With judges like Greer around, who would want to turn their medical care over to the state? Sure, Medicare will pay the bills for a while, but only an idiot would believe they would keep an ordinary person alive if it starts to cost money. We arent talking about terminally ill people who couldnt survive an hour without life support; we are talking about people who need long-term and/or expensive medical care or rehabilitation whose "quality of life" might be something less than the elitists idea of what it should be.
There seems to be an endless supply of these scented parlor snakes who love to play God with others lives, basing their assumption of deity on the misguided notion that they are somehow better than those they disdain.
There is no end to the trouble to which these self-appointed deities will go to control the lives of everyone. They need to be put in their place by those whom they would control. This is not time for the timid or the weak to crawl under the bed and hope it will all go away with a new dawn. This is the time to slam dunk these elitists every time they open their mouths.
Judge Greer crossed a line. As a nation, we cannot tolerate this kind of control over our lives and our deaths, especially as it involves the malicious destruction of what we hold most dear. Live free or die fighting.
