Its getting old and frustrating

They say Christians are by far the most accepted . But that acceptence is slowly dropping!

Somehow society has gotten the picture that all Christians are all about hate becasue our doctrine says SOMEBODY has to go to hell.

They say our religion is stupid because we have too many boundaries or you actualy have to believe in God to get into heaven and that good deeds aren't enough.

I mean, we have every right to express our religion as much as they do! And they can sya all they want about us and not get in trouble. But the minute somebody says one thing against their religion you have the authorities on you like *that*.

Its just SO frustrating and old. All they thing we're about now is hate hate and more hate. And that we think we're better than them...

Actually, I think that society has the picture that Christians are all about hate because they do not see us acting in love.
When we want to protest against something, we get angry. We tell them that God's wrath is upon them. We picket and march. We equip armies to go and kill people. When people argue with us we claim that society is becoming morally bankrupt etc.

No-one accused Jesus of being about hate. And yet his doctrine was that some are going to Hell.

But his life was characterised by peace, compassion, caring for the disadvantaged, standing up for the rights of the poor, and sacrificing himself for the needs of others.

If there were more Christians today with those characteristics, people would not see us as hating. They might still hate us though. In fact they definitely would. Jesus said that they would.
