I've met alot of people recently. Some were believers others were not. Some accepted Him, others have not. But compare this to many many years ago like in the early 50's or 60's, you can see that people today are becoming sucked into war and horrible images.

I met a few people at other forums. My question then was: "Who loves war here?" I got so many people answering yes. They described way as an elite way of showing that you are the best. Oooookaaay

Music today. I've heard quite a lot of music today lyrically impulsing people to sensual activities. This may or may not be so but if you notice in video clips, lyrics etc, its strange how they seem to act in such a fashion though .

Movies alike: Violence, not surprising seems to be rocketing now adays (movie sense, not the number of movies that are violent btw). Okay, it's not something i'm against but if it gets to the point where heads get chopped off and it's rated as [Kids rating], that will probably put me in a bit of a worry .

Cool, any comments? Extra discoveries? Some might be wrong here but i'm just wondering out of my own experience. I didn't bother doing much research .

I was told stories about growing up by my mother and father, and later by my grandmother and elderly co-workers, which lead me to believe the only thing that has really changed about human behavior is the amount of coverage it gets.

      Your exactly right sharky, its everywhere you go. Sex, drugs, violence. Its in the movies, on TV, in the music, on billboards, posters, and its all gone to far. Heres the way I see it, there isnt a hole lot we can do. Sure there organizations here and there, but still, never will it be bg enough to fight the BUISINESS, which is why it is our job as parents, guardians, big brothers/sisters, overall just christians to set an example for others by doing our best to live up to His word each day. As miht dad always said "Dont complain about what you cant change, make the best of where your already at"

Abraham sleeps with one of his servants, Noah passes out drunk naked in his tent (and then forces his his own lineage into slavery for seeing his nakedness), Moses and crew slaughter whole villiages down to each man, woman, and child, etc., etc, etc...

    I wont even bother to explain the Bible to you, it seems everytime I try to explain something it goes right over their heads. You can only take "bad" things from the bible, leave out the story behind them, to make the holy book look bad.

I imainge putting a positive spin on the story of Moses and Ham is quite difficult.  I don't know how any good can come of a story about a drunken and abusive father.

Starscream isn't the one condemning the present state of affairs with a sweapoing and vague generalization that seems seem to be getting worse. It may be a thorn in your sides that he chose to use the ABible, but the point is that such activities can be found in about any period. If that strikes you as negative, then Sharkey must been downright negativity incarnate.

Seriously, it is easy enough to point to contemporary trends that you don't like, and may have good reason for not liking. This just doesn't add up to a general decline of civilization.

As civilization and population grows so does the amount of immorality per capita.

And people are becoming a little more geared towards selfishness and immorality as the years progress, the web is a good example of an added avenue of immorality and abuse.

I believe the world is getting worse. It's not just trends anymore.
