The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is it in the water?
Even though I have not missed medication I am feeling much the same way today. Maybe not as bad as you are. The smallest darn things are making me sad or mad, or scared. (even nauseous)

You are a child of the living God.

Pray and ask God to help you with everything that is overwhelming you today. Take a deep breath. I know how it feels to be overwhelmed. (Honestly, I am not having a very easy day today, either.) Ask God to help you think clearly. You need to clear your mind of all those overwhelming thoughts. Cast your cares on Jesus for He cares for you. Take one problem at a time and do one thing to fix that problem. God didn't make us to be able to handle thousands of problems at once. (It might help if the first thing you do now is to take a few minutes and get yourself fixed up, i.e. wash your face, fix your hair, and make sure you aren't wearing something frumpy-- You would be amazed at how much better you will feel if you fix your hair and face.)

Praying dear one! I wish I was there to give you a hug and a shoulder to dry on! I do remember those days . . . I have more to say at some point, but now is not the best time for you or for me!

Thank you everyone for your posts, thought and prayers... I am slowly getting better, and I think though it will be short lived, I am having fun... My stress levels will go back up soon because of situations, but it feels so great to have fun, adn feel happy, even for the moment! Praise the Lord!!!

Glad you are feeling better, just don't let the ride get to high! That is one of the things that I hate about this illness never quite feeling like you can let your guard down. Also work now to do excellent self care, so that you are better equipped when the stress returns, as it always will in this life! May God restore you emotionally, physically and spiritually thru all of this/!!! Hugs, prayers and blessings, dear sister!
