Itching

I'm finding it hard to get to sleep at night because I'm itching all over.... had this experience with last pregnancy as well...

Anyone else experience this?

I don't recall being that itchy so early on.. However, starting last month it has been almost unbearable from time to time.

It could be as easy as dry skin, but I'd bring it up at your next appt if it keeps up, as that's one of the many signs for pre-eclampsia and a few other complications if I recall correctly.

I read in my pregnancy book that it's can be a symptom due to hormones or something. I've been putting on medicated gold bond after my showers and sometimes on the itchy spots and that helps. Wasn't too much of a problem before the pregnancy.

Yeah not so much my stomach but my arms and breasts itch like crazy. I need to order some good stuff.

welll, I found out I have latent hypothyroidism, which causes the itchiness... So if you are still itching really bad, have the doc check when he does your blood test to make sure your T3, T4 and TSH levels are OK as well as your iron, zinc, selinium and calcium.
