Life is too serious to take it seriously. Keep having fun! I remember years ago on CF, I had a group of fun loving friends, and I constructed a puppet character and a fictitious church and posted a whole history of it. It was when the WOF movement was being discussed on the forum, so I named my fictitious church The First Church Of The Faithful Woofters, located in Antarctica. I made up a whole lot of fictitious characters who were part of the church, plus an inflated religious language which the members of the church spoke, and had a lot of fun with it. After a couple of years, my friends went on to other pursuits and the new members who joined did not understand the humour, so the exchanges faded out. but it was a lot of fun while it lasted. When I first stated the group tried to find out who was behind "Superduperman" and only one correctly guessed that it was me. Actually the most funny part was those ones who took it seriously and thought it was a real church!! Hahahahaha!Very true. I imagine it was a greed topic which doesn't belong on a Christian forum but then there are lots of topics that don't belong on a Christian topic. It was just for fun. OH WEll, sigh.
Also, while I think about it, it was at a time when there were some nasty, acrimonious debates happening on the thread, and I am sure that my fun thread offset a lot of that and caused laughter and much kinder responses.
