It snowed!!

yI woke up this morning and went out to the living room and was like "OH MY GOSH IT SNOWED?!?!"
So I took a couple pictures.
Wanted to share.... starting off the cold season.

I have a nice hill off to the right in my back yard, and I go tubing when we get enough snow. It's great!

We don't get too much snow here, and it usually isn't until January or so.

I live in the "country" ... two minutes to the bottom of the hill and in the land of civilization! I love the area, don't particularly like my house, but it wasn't my choice to pick out and I'll only be here for a little while longer anyway. It's a convenient location though.
And I live two houses from Mark Twain's summer home, Quarry Farm.

friend of mine lives on LI... I'm around nyc a few times a year for Youth 2000 Retreats put on by the CFR's in the Bronx.

You guys are making me homesick. I'm from Coney Island and my (not so) little brother lives up near Morrisville now. No snow here on the plains of KS yet though and even if there was, it's so darn flat, that "tubing" is impossible

The hills just aren't too big here, but there are a few. I've taken my kids to hills they couldn't even climb up in the snow.

I'm not ready for snow yet. It's actually supposed to rain this week, which isn't exciting either.
