As several people have now reminded you, if you wish a discussion on the morality of abortion, then start your own!
The neighbour on your left was obviously pregnant. One morning, she tells you that she suffered a miscarriage the day before and has 'lost' the pregnancy. She doesn't want to speak further. What do you, the model responsible citizen, do now? Do you make a report to the authorities?
You take your understanding of the law from inscriptions written on money!?
You don't have evidence, but the authorities might be able to find something out. Let's say she says "Oh, my kid fell down the stairs and died. We went and buried him in the family plot." You wouldn't tell anyone because you don't have evidence that she's lying? Miscarriages happen, sure, but the ones who are lying will never get caught if there's never an investigation! No! Because I have no evidence that she is lying. No evidence = no chance of conviction!
Is anyone here advocating for forced abortion?
I said forced abortion. Please just answer the simple question instead of throwing irrelevant shade.By justifying the killing of innocent unborn babies, you become accomplices to the commission of a crime.
What part of "not a scientific question" didn't you understand?
I disagree. Now what?
Legal personhood is not a scientific matter. It is, quite literally, the question of when we as a society decide to grant a human with certain legal rights. Some are granted at viability or birth. Others are instead tied to the concept of legal adulthood.I do understand the question. What I don't understand is you answer!
Nature kills indiscriminately.
A ten year girl is raped and falls pregnant. You would be happy to force this girl by law to carry the baby to full term?
Would you or would you not vote in favor of a law that would require a young rape survivor to carry to term?I have no power to force anyone to carry a baby to term.

I changed the text of that post roughly 13 minutes before you responded to the original text.

Will you call for women who have an IUD fitted to be executed for attempted murder?
Suicide is sort of illegal. Of course, victims of suicide cannot be prosecuted and people who attempt suicide will not be arrested and tried
