It seems to be a troubling week...

Hi everyone, just a few little prayer requests...

My friend's brother's girlfriend committed suicide a few nights ago. It has been really hard on their families, and especially my friend's brother. It didn't hit him until yesterday when he found a photograph of the two of them together. It's been hard on my friend as well because Nikki understood the problems she was going through. So, please pray that everyone is able to find peace and let them know God is with them.

Also my mum has had a lot of problems with her teeth, and we can't afford for her to go to the dentist for them because to repair them would cost well up into the thousands of dollars. She keeps setting deadlines for God to help heal her teeth, and I don't feel that God works that way...he works in his time, not ours. She's starting to become impatient, as she has been praying for healing for over a year. Her teeth affect her self-esteem and keep her from singing at church, as well as going out and doing things.

Then, I'm also having more health problems, but those are the least of my concerns right now So please if you have time, pray for my mum and my friend+family. Thank you a lot and God bless

Hey there Duckie. I think you have some good insight into how God works. It is not likely he will meraculously heal your mothers teath. It is more likely he will give her the right opportunities to get it paid for if she puts forth some effort.

I know here they have a college and you can get work done on yer teath for free by the students. My mom has been doing that for years. Anyhow I'm sorry about yer mom, that sounds depressing. Your friend's Brother's Girlfriend, that is sad and I pray that God brings peace to all involved and that she is shown love in heaven and that God shows mercy on her waste of life.

I really think yer really nice for praying for your friends and family and saying that yer health concerns on the least of yer worries. It seems like you've been gifted with a good understanding of God and a humble soul, so i just wanted to say I can see that and appreciate it. I hope things work out for you soon and I'm praying,

Lord I lift this friend and family up to you for comfort and strength at this sad time in their lives.

I pray this mom would realize life has much greater meaning than having beautiful teeth. Lord I pray for her self esteem and take away the pride that keeps her from going to church. In the name of Jesus I pray. amen

Father God bring comfort and peace to the families involved in the tragic death of a daughter and friend. I pray Lord she will come to be in the kingdom of your Heavenly realm, having the joy and peace she was unable to find here on earth. Let thy presence be known to the family and friends.
