I haven't seen anyone here post anything about the tragic death of the NASA crew. We should ALL pray and remember Shuttle Columbia. And never forget all the other tragic events of history. All the wars all the bombings. Everyone ever lost will be in my prays.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
It makes me sad that no one here.....

The story of the Columbia is historical and tragic. The events of February 1, 2003, along with the Challenger disaster, will change the attitude towards space flight forever.
One of the worst parts of all of this is that the first Israel pilot was on board the Columbia, and all the Osama bin Ladens of the world are thinking this is the work of Allah. On Saturday people in Baghdad were saying this was the wrath of Allah, and don't think that the Muslim terrorists are not being inspired by it.

I've seen may threads dedicated to the Columbia, however, I have stayed away myself. This is my first response to any of them. I don't feel compelled to take about it more than I should or it is.
I'm deeply sadden by the event and comments coming from heatless morons like Hussein don't help.
