It is time

There are seven Moderators in this forum alone. It is time the moderators moderated, and ALL the Christians joined together and prayed for this place and for each other and for the lost no matter where they are.

It is time to take our eyes off ourselves and our so petty little problems and get serious about serving God. Either we, as a Family, are going to act like the Family of God or we are not.

If we are not, then that is indication enough that we are here for the wrong reasons. Why don't we each look inside and ask ourselves WHY we are here and be honest like never before.

Are we here to edify or tear down, or did we come to sit on the fence and watch? Do we believe in the power of prayer or not. If we do then let us join our prayers together and pray. Once I started an informal prayer chain, where people could post inform long os short or sentence prayers or agree with others in prayer. It was a flop as for as the number of those joining in. I wish someone else would start something like it since there is no chat room where people can go and praye together.

Is it important for people to pray together? Read what God's Word says for yourself and you decide.

Gerry, I totally agree with you. That is partly why I don't join in debates or arguements. I don't like arguing with people and as for as debates, I don't get into those unless the Lord leads me to post something, and then it is only one or two posts because I don't want to lose focus from the reason that I'm here. And that is because I want to share the love of the Lord and also to have fun in the mean time. And here is my prayer for me:

Dear Lord, I Pray that I go where you lead me, say what you want me to say, be who you want me to be. I pray that I bring glory to your name. Lord, help me to keep in mind that we are all human and sometimes we fail. I pray that when I do fail, that you give me the wisdom to make it right and learn the lesson from those failures. I pray for strength, wisdom, understanding, compassion, grace, mercy, and love. Lord, there is no love that is greater than your love and help me to show that love to others, that you may bring them to you. Lord, use me however, whenever, wherever, and for whatever you want. I only want to please you, Lord, only you. I live for you, Lord, only you. May I live up to your standards for me, Lord. I praise your name. I love you Lord, you are my father. I pray for the ones that don't know you, I pray that you lead them into your loving arms, as only you can do. I pray that they find the peace, that they are searching for so desperatly. I pray that you show them that peace and how wonderful it is to be wrapped in your loving arms. And again I pray that I be an effective witness for you. Please help me to type your words not mine. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

P.S. I'll be continuing this prayer. I'm feeling very strongly to add to this one as time goes by. And I pray this prayer follow me everywhere I go in the world, not just for here.

It's time to build up the moderators, build up the Christian members, support one another, assume nothing about each other and be thankful for each others witness for Christ. It is time to focus on our personal walk with the Lord with such a focus that allows not one second to judge the walk of others.

Well said indeed. It is time for the family of God to act like the Family of God and not anything that is different in any way. God was and IS very clear in explaining how the Family of God is set up and how it is to run.

I've stayed away for a while, and I gotta say, I didn't really miss it. Letting people run amok has really hurt this site. It used to be more fun, more active and more interactive. Now it's all about being right and winning arguments. I got sick of being attacked for having conventional, orthodox, Biblical beliefs. I don't know when I'll bother coming back, but I will pray for this site and everyone here.

Yes I think it comes back to the one scripture we are told to respect and honour our brother's and sister's in Christ. Just because they have a different opinion than us. Does not give us the right to judge, and put down other's. Love is needed to humble ourselves from pride and know when to stop contentions before they start. Being ready to adapt ourselfs to other's. Respect and honour being something we do by faith because the Lord has asked us to. Some people have never been respected their whole lifes that they don't even respect themselves. Let's show some respect, honour, and love. We all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. It is only by grace we are saved. Our righteousness is because of Jesus death on the Cross. May we have the grace Lord to serve other's in Love.
