If the sun represents Christ then the moon represents something and the only logical answer is his bride the church the reflected light of the sun its interesting that st Paul could know that the moon reflected the suns light I have nothing to support the stars being the children of God except my logic.

AS a electrician for our local ballet company I have learned a lot about lighting and how to filter the light. People like Taylor Swift with her billion dollar tour put on a really powerful light show. That is a part of why people pay so much to see her show. They call it a laser spectacular.

But none of your reply addresses the reason for Genesis telling us that God created the sun moon and stars on Day 4, not on Day 1.

Because God created them on day one. He created the firmament on day four. The Bible is very clear about that.

If God created the sun on day four there could be no vegetation plants must have sunlight to grow.

But as I keep saying, the Genesis account says that God created the heavens and the earth and light on Day 1. On Day 4 He created as follows:

The 67 is a glitch. The average temp is 59 degrees. The point is that this is consistent and does not change. There is a slight variation due to the wobble effect but not enough to be concerned with.

This is a follow up to fact that because of the Earth's rotation, somewhere on the planet, there is always a sunrise and a sunset happening at the same time.

We become aware of this at the new year when they celebrate at a different time in different places. Although they do that based on time zones.

The primary colors in both systems are based on human eye anatomy. Since we have red, green & blue cones, those colors (or their absence, in subtractive terms) are interpreted as primaries.

That is a whole new ball game. We see this with underwater photography because of the distortion caused by the water and how the eye deals with that. I have tired many many times to explain to people how our firmament effects light but no one seems to get it.

The Sun is zipping through the Milky Way at a blistering speed of about 136 miles per second. That's approximately 492,000 miles per hour! It takes about 225-250 million years for the Sun to complete one orbit around the center of our galaxy.

That is a handy understanding since it means that plants created on day 3 - are only going through one night event before the Sun appears.

Rather the summary statement that God is the creator of everything is in vs 1 - but then follows a "time boxed chronological sequence" describing the formating of Earth for life and the creation of the Sun and moon (day 4)
