• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hey there,
so my friend Laura had her baby.. and i was right i said it was going to be a girl.. and it was... Kayleigh Cheyenne MacKay-Smith feb 4/2006 7:31pm 6lbs 1oz we thought she was only 2 weeks early turns out she was a month early it was rough she is home now tho. she was really Jaundic and colicy and not eating. she has a heart murmur and is now 6lbs 2oz. when she came on 02/13/06 she was only 5lbs 4oz shes doing better now.. holding her in my arms has helped me alot. i have missing my little girl so much. i lost her at 19 weeks on 05/17/04 it has been almost 2 yrs but it still gets to me.. me and my mom were talking about it and having Kayleigh as my "neice/god daughter" is helping me so much. shes absolutly gorgouse.its crazy tho i thought it would be harder then it is. but its like when i hold her and talk to her she melts the pain away. i still think about my lil Nevaeh and miss her like crazy but its getting easier to deal with the pain now...

Bornagain, that is so wonderful. Your post brought tears to my eyes. I know how much pain you have been in after losing your little Nevaeh, and I praise God for giving you some healing through your precious God daughter!

Hello BornAgain,

God bless you for being so strong. My work collegue and I shared the same due date and she's going on maternity leave next week. I've bought her a toy and a good luck card and wrote inside "Remember to thank God every day for your blessing". I'm anxious about seeing him or her when s/he is born.

I've been dreaming about having another baby and I just can't wait for the day to come. I miss my little Gabriel so much.

thank you so much for your kind words.. its been rough but im getting there its funny tho when i was with her the other day ( i see her alot lol) i was holding her and every time her mother (laura) said aunt stephy kayleigh looked up me and kinda smiled it was cute anytime i feel sad i hold her and its like shes telling me its ok and i feel so much better :) i love that little girl so much its crazy
