My sons car was vandalized.
They tried to break his back window.
It's in several pieces despite being intact.

I have had my car repaired 5 times in 2 months.
The last one was bolt and safety pin missing off my carriage.
And other things going wonky as if.
Not to mention every night I go to bed and checked my car is locked and it was opened.
It is still in the garage and people are asking me to give it up because it costs too much.
5 times though....

Allegedly a friend may put up a camera to catch them.
I have 2 suspects in mind, both dealers on drugs.

I just need proof.

I cannot sustain staying here.
I so want to move but my house needs repaired I am not qualified to do.
I can't get anyone who accepts payment after sale.

The police are nonexistent practically.
AND even you try to do anything. "Oh that's not bad' or we have no proof.
Also, you call after 5 and they say call 911 in another area.
My friends garage was robbed in front of his roommate who told them to get out and they were the chief of polices son...
and they didn't get in trouble. Because they didn't know it was 'not abandoned' right behind his house.

Most of them are on drugs and cover for the dealers.

I told the chief of police about the one guy and ever since it has been a lot of crap going on.

You may want to talk about your situation to some realtors in your area.

My home needed a couple major repairs before I could sell it.
I didn't have the money for those things.

Through a friend, I got connected to a good real estate agent. She understood the situation and arranged for the repairs to be done by contractors that she knew and worked with regularly.

She wrote into my sales contract with her that the price of the repairs would be paid to the contractors after the sale of the house, directly out of the proceeds from the sale. And then I would get a check, for the remaining proceeds.

I don't know if all real estate agents do this sort of thing, but this worked out very well in my situation.

What real estate company?

I was never told that. I was advised to sell it for cash sale only. I might get about half value and would have to find a cheap house with other problems.

She is not sure I can. She will call a company who does that.
I think what would sell it - repaint siding to forest green, with brown red trim. I need a french drain outside.
Fix basement under porch and redo the porch. Need replace front steps which are old.
I have 1 pillar and put a door and take down the enclosed wall that's splitting off the side under the porch.
Redo bathroom.
Redo 1 bedroom.
But she says I might not make enough after their costs.

Either way - sell cash or have it fixed and lose half the sale. Same boat.
Still have to find a cheap house with new issues.

Do you have housing aid there?

My home was a ranch style home; no basement, so no basement issues.
But I did need to put a new roof on the house, and have some foundation work done (due to minor earthquake damage).
The rest of the property was in good shape. So, I still made a nice profit on the sale.

It does sound like your repairs could potentially eat largely into your proceeds from the sale.
I suppose some kind of estimate will tell you pretty quickly.

Not knowing anything about your situation, I hoped maybe the information I shared might open up some possibilities for you. But ultimately it is God Who opens doors for us ... He does know the desires of our heart and all that we need ... He knows His plans for our life, too ... so I will pray that He gives you wisdom and guidance about all this, and helps you in what you should do.

I myself now live in an older big city neighborhood, and do worry sometimes about the kinds of issues developing here that you are currently facing. Especially as the economy worsens, immigration issues, etc. When I get overly concerned about it, I like to pray Fr. Ripperger's "Perimeter Prayer". Our hope is in the Lord.

She has not called back. It's likely the value may increase but maybe not by leaps and bounds and I would need to talk to them... but she is usually slow [still working in her 80s]
Never heard of that realty, maybe local.

She said the whole house redone. I don't know their bid and I wait. Either I sell or have a loan to pay.
Which requires a good job for a loan and here I sit. She said the work may be the whole profit or even more.
Worst part of my journey ever.
Things keep piling up and I do pray, I pray and pray.

I know the Lord leads. But so far I guess rock bottom...?

I'm sorry things are so hard right now. I hope you get a break soon, and some solutions to your problems will appear. What is impossible with man is possible with God.
