Lutheran Public Radio | Sacred Music for the World

Two wonderful websites. Issuesetc has discussions on various topics found in todays world while lutheran public radio is good ol' theologically sound traditional worship music.

Anywho, this topic exists for any who want to discuss the issues that are brought up on issuesetc. I would love to discuss these with anyone here.

Today is the first day I've heard of Issues, Etc. I even did a google search recently for Lutheran Radio but I don't remember that one coming up. Anyway, I was watching one of those youtube videos you posted on Revelation and Rev. Fisk mentioned it. I've not had a chance to listen yet but I want to. My eyes are about to fall out from all the reading I've been doing recently so listening instead is going to be nice.

Yeah...I have a back log of books already and I haven't even bought them yet. >_< Book of concord has been keeping me busy recently... which btw if i may add is no small challenge. I read and skimmed over it back in aug? Time frame without really understanding it after just finishing the small catechism. Now it just seems like such a bigger task now that I understand it better. No skimming through either. ;-)

If you read it all you'll be ahead of probably 90% of the lay people in the LCMS. Just sayin'. ;)

Well, I'm not trying to compete or anything... but my plan is after I have the Book of Concord out of the way I'll be free to start hitting up the books I want to buy like in my other topic on my wishlist.

And yes I am aware the book of concord shouldn't be something I read once and leave it to collect dust.
