You know so much has been written concerning the Antichrist and the beast. When the apostles wrote concerning antichrists being present in their day which they also referred it as them appearing in the last days. Which also said Christ came in the last days. An Antichrist is someone who rejects the true Christ. We have had those since the appearance of Christ. The last days are not the same as the end of days also referred to as the last generation just before Christ returns. What we need to be looking for is the man of sin that Paul mentions. Who will speak against God and who will proclaim himself as God and as the Christ. But yet his claims are false.
As for the beast that everyone speaks about is revealed to what and who he is. The beast is not a single man as most believe. Scriptures tells us the first beast represented a set of kings that would rise up on the earth to rule. At the time John saw this five of the seven kings had already ruled one was ruling and another was yet to come. Study the description of the beast and you will see the beast was a set of kingdoms and out of the first beast will rise an eighth kingdom with a king. This is what we need to understand the coming of the second beast.

God said, "I am going to build a house, and the name of the house is Israel". The descendants of Jacob are the forest from where God gets His building materials. The house of Israel is them who are ultimately saved.

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom.

But this is not the end, these are birth pains. For all creation labors in the pain of childbirth, groaning in futility because of its subjugation to death. But Christ has risen from the dead, and all who are His are redeemed and are being made fit for the kingdom by His grace; and in the end creation itself shall be set free, as God makes all things new, at the Lord's return, the resurrection of the body, and the renewal of all things--and God shall be all in all.

When we see the violence of this present world, let us not despair, nor say "The end has come", but rather, let us pray, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our sins even as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever."

Let us always remember "the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever." Let us pray, "Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus".

Let us pray, in the hope that we have received and the hope we look forward to: For God has granted us the privilege to live in times such as these that we should preach Good News, and serve our neighbor. For the Day will come when the Master returns, and what shall He find when He comes among His servants? Shall we be found a faithless or faithful servant? Since He comes when we do not expect, let us like wise virgins bring enough lamp oil to stay awake through the night. Let us be found not in drunkenness nor stupor, but awake and sober--doing as the Master has taught.

Pray for peace. And be a peacemaker. Pray that the Holy Spirit grant you peace, that you might live peace--and be peaceable with all insofar as it is up to you, as the Apostle St. Paul has said.

Love your enemies. Pray for those who despise you. Bless those who curse you. In all things remember that to live is Christ and to die is gain.

For this mortal life is a cross which the disciple of Jesus Christ carries at all times, for this world is not where righteousness dwells. And yet, in Christ there is justice, peace, mercy, and life everlasting. So let us ever cling to Him in all things, He is our Refuge, our Safe Harbor.

Our Jewish and Muslim neighbors need our love. As the violence of those who wield power against others shall bring untold suffering to many. Our brothers and sisters in Christ, caught in the crossfire. Evil wields the sword against evil, and all suffer because of it. Therefore love your neighbor, love your enemy, comfort the widow and the orphan, protect the weak, promote justice for those who have been deprived of justice.

Christ calls us to be soldiers not of war, but of peace. The flag we wave is not a battle standard, but a standard of peace, stained by the blood of the Lamb of God.
