Isn't it funny how those who paint a doomsday scenario when it comes to population control, global warming and AIDS are more likely to be athiest or agnostics at best. Without God, they fear the end of the world and run around saying the sky is falling. Why do they fear the end of the world if they believe that there is nothing else? Kind of ironic isn't it?

The only reason to fear the end is if one dosn't belive there is anything else.

Otherwise one should rejoice in what is yet to come

It seems in some ways that these secular fears are set up so that a true "Chastisement" will be explained away by some as Global Warming, or CIA-engineered viruses, or "the Big Earthquake/Tsunami we all know is coming," etc etc
