CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Aburame-- I used to be tutored (violin) by a women in Brentwood.
That's a beautiful area.
HoosierCanuck-- Do you go back to Port Alberni very often (not that there's much to do there! lol). I went to Alberni's drag race last summer: pretty cool. ... except that I really stuck out and people stared at me (I was the only one with tattoos).

not on vancouver island but in vancouver, way different i know. but i have friends in victoria and though I've only been there once it was sooo beautiful.

Mulutka: No, I haven't been back to Port Alberni for few years now. One of my friends from there now lives in Vancouver. You're right, there isn't much to do there but it sure looks better to me than Marion, Indiana (which is where I am unfortunately right at the moment. lol!)
I miss the Queen Charlottes too. Very beautiful up there. Forget the Caribbean...send me to Canada!!!!
