Isaiah 14 is Not About Fall of Satan

The context is clear. The LORD commands Isaiah (14:4) "...take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:.." i.e. it is about the prideful king of Babylon.
Both Luther and Calvin and commentaries since, have rejected that old typology that equated the morning star with Satan.
But that tradition of men was given new birth at the beginning of the 20th Century with the publication of the Schofield reference Bible that became very popular (few, if any, other study Bibles back then)

Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Since ambitions far beyond what the King of Babylon might have or even be aware of, we might conclude that these parenthetical verses are describing the entity behind the human king.

Mixing apples and oranges, as appropriate as citing these two verses back to back: --'Judas went out and hanged himself'...........--'Go and do thou likewise"

But there you have it right there in Strongs: "the morning star"
lucifer (note NOT capitalized in Strongs) is simply the Latin translation (Jerome, 4th Century A.D.)

From the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (free online) They give just one sentence under the entry for lucifer: "lu'-si-fer, loo'-si-fer: The morning star, an epithet of the planet Venus."
