  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Of course praying will help! God will always be there for you; to listen to you, to comfort you, and to help you through these rough times. Just don't depend fully on praying to get you through. God knows best and although He isn't that obvious about everything He will come through for you. Open your heart and mind to God and your girl and things will work themselves out. Don't forget also to pray about your child and how you can both be there for him/her too. I hope this all works out for you and I'll be praying for you too.

I don't think praying for a relationship is going to work, no. I DO think, however, that praying specifically that God work changes in your life, and even highlighting the changes, does. We are to pray specifically for what we want, even though God already knows what we are going to ask for.
