I am interested in connecting with other web developers but it looks sort of dead in here.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Very possible or they don't post. I'm into web develop which I'm currently designing a couple sites but I think it's about dead. Nothing interesting besides people asking for help. I think to jump start things here is to come up with something worth discussing.

Firstly to provide links for the members to see what others have to offer by way of resources to help build their online business's and secondly to provide access to a market place of like minded people.
It would also make a change from seeing the adsense banners for the $5 trick to erase wrinkles.
What do members think?

I'm not a fan of this idea. An alternative would be to make a link to your home page more visible, possibly in the postbit.

I was starting to believe that being online all day was not good for you, maybe other people out there think like me and we just don't use our computers until the evening. Maybe we're just not here. Maybe that's why you can't find us...I am pleased to say I have not used my computer all day. I was celebrating my birthday today, my mother took me out to a fancy restaurant to eat and then we came home and had a big cake. I turned 26 today.
