Doesn't sound as good if you finish out the passage

"Look,” He replied, “I will let you use cow dung instead of human excrement, and you may bake your bread over that.”…"
So who had the better advice?

So who had the better advice?
Well in a desert with no trees, you go right ahead and use human excrement to cook your food instead of cow dung.... let me know which is better, ok?

Cow dung was commonly used for cooking fuel back then. Still is in some parts of the developing world.

Our problems will increase (despite 'scientific advances') to the point of the destruction of all life (flesh) on earth unless God intervenes, sending Jesus Christ to end the destructive rebellion of mankind.

You just restated your statement.
I asked you to be specific about which exact problems can be solved by your bible in which exact way, that science can not.

Science is more interested in profiting from problems. Why would they 'prevent' them? Unless there's money or fame in it science generally ignores problems.

You seem to be confusing science, with practical application industries.

Einstein doesn't get any royalties for GPS systems, eventhough GPS can't work without his theory of relativity.

Read the Proverbs.

No, instead, you make your point right here.

It's true on it's face.

It's not.

This "nu-hu!" and "ya-ha" back and forward doesn't seem productive.
I suggest you stop with the school playground logic and actually explain yourself instead.

The truth is that atheistic science cannot address problems caused by man's evil nature. They can only seek to profit from the aftermath.

What is "atheistic science"?
As opposed to what?

God will rescue us from our 51 percent-plus evil nature, so we won't cause the problems that we cause ourselves today. No specifics needed to understand that.

Are you saying that scientists aren't gainfully employed within those industries?

Atheistic science is science that supposes to solve spiritual problems by physical means, as opposed to the application of spiritual truth (as quasi-social science) that actually addresses the root cause of (those) problems.

That said atheistic science can facilitate certain solutions, such as developing a better cocktail of drugs for putting to death dangerous criminals.

Will these AI programs be infused with Godly knowledge as well as secular knowledge as a knowledge base from which to address our problems? And what would be your reaction if such programs selected the biblical solutions instead of the secular ones?

what problems and what biblical solutions?

Actually, lots of specifics needed to support any of these one liner statements you've made.

You have made these claims several times now, that the bible is in a better position to offer "solutions" to humanity's supposed "problems".
Not once have you actually explained this. Not once have you actually given an example.

I'm just going to assume that you haven't done this, because you can't.

You are welcome to still give it a go, but until then, I think I'm going to trust my BS radar.

I'm saying that science, as an undertaking, is merely a quest for knowledge.
What people do with that knowledge, is something else.

Or like enabling people like yourself to spout nonsense at light speed using a global communication platform such as the internet and whatever device you use to read and post here. Or... just about anything else you use on a daily basis in this 21st century.

Then why are you defending it as a 'problem solver'?

These devices are handy but hardly solve our real problems; murder, lying, theft. In fact hackers use these platforms to create new crimes. Mass media also encourages thoughtless and often dangerous mob responses.

However I did just use my word processor and printer to issue warnings to some of our graduate student tenants (the best and brightest hope for the future) that they cannot park free in the visitors parking lot (this is theft), or allow their friends to park there all day while they go to their classes (ostensibly to learn how to make the world a better place). This is just as bad as theft, telling another to take something that doesn't belong to them. Got an "AI" for that?

I think most (around the world) who are following this agree with me, not you.

You cannot use material solutions to solve spiritual problems.
