Is this a good idea...

I'm going to have to explain this piece by piece.... alright.

First Element: Man... married two amazingly cute, yet horribly evil kids. Wife who's cheating on him, but refuses to sign the divorce papers.

Second Element:
God
This man talks to God alot. He asks periodically where God is, why he won't help, he tells him he's just a huge jerk that doesn't care about anybody.

Third Element:

Car crash, he is responsible and has to pay thousands.

Finally he cries out to God, and asks him to help... amidst the screaming God answers in the most unusual way imaginable.

Three days later the man goes to the door after hearing it ring unceasingly. And there is God, trenchcoat, bowlers hat, and two suitcases, standing at his door.

He smiles, The man raises an eyebrow. God walks in, sets his bags down takes off his Jacket, and begins to use the most amazing methods (and most unusually effective at that) to revolutionize his life, all while showing the man that he cares more deeply than he can fathom.

How does it sound.

Oh, you could totally make it worse. The car crash involved another family member and they ended up dying. And of course the reason for the crash was him being distracted by the fact that he just lost his job.

Instead of making both his kids evil--Have one simply be difficult teenager (maybe they are into drugs and gangs), and give the other something that makes them difficult to communicate with or being in need of too much attention (autism, mental retardation, OCD, ADD, deaf, cerebral palsy, etc). When you talk about evil kids I think "exorcist" or standard horror flick...

Was that wife is cheating on him with his sibling?
