Is there some allegory to "Willy Wonka - Pure imagination" song

Although all it comes to my mind is when i see a new candy being made and then this plays in my head, i mean imagine how exciting it must have been when it was first made, while now its common knowledge

But there was a comment on this, that Willy Wonka is essentially God, and these children fall into the 7 deadly sin, and since Charlie was good then he takes part in Willy Wonka's creation.

Kinda deep when i think about it OwO. But i can't argue against that shivering feeling from the song though.

I call baloney for the most obvious reason: there's seven deadly sins, but only five children (four excluding Charlie). Also, I had to look it up, but Roald Dahl was an agnostic, so chances are he wouldn't put such allegories in his work.

The internet loves to come up with in-depth theories for the strangest things which are completely made-up, and I think that's one to put next to 'Aladdin' being set in a post-apocalyptic future or that Ferris Bueller was Cameron's imaginary friend.
