While I do believe St. Mary is the Ark of New Covenant and the spiritual mother of all believers, I don't think she plays any role in our Salvation in the manner Jesus does.
The punishment endured by Jesus is applicable to all humans, no matter how many billions are there or the time they lived ( OT versus NT) , because Jesus is infinite God and He transcends space and time. I don't see Mary, a created being, fits here.
I do believe the intercession of St. Mary is necessary to complete our faith and she is called, rightfully, as the the gate to heaven, answer to the OP is no.
Christ continues His ministry thru Peter the apostles and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1 Jn 8:32 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20
Mary has absolutely nothing to do with our faith nor our salvation. She's dead, & while her soul lives in paradise, she doesn't know nor care what happens here until she returns here with Jesus.
really?Mary is worthy ONLY for recognition as the earthly mom of Jesus. Otherwise, she did nothing special, nor does she hold any office besides Christian.
And again, in paradise, she doesn't know nor care what goes on here. As for the rich man in 'torments' in Jesus' parable, he only REMEMBERED his bros. He didn't know what they were doing.

If Jesus was not God Incarnate in the womb, then humanity is not reconciled to God. You also have to deny Scripture when Elizabeth referred to Mary as the mother of her Lord, and considered it a great blessing to be visited by her.Mary is worthy ONLY for recognition as the earthly mom of Jesus. Nuffin to do with Mary.really?
Luke 15:7 I say to you that even so there shall be joy in heaven upon one sinner that doth penance, more than upon ninety-nine just who need not penance.

If you think God can physically live inside someone and not alter them -- sanctify them, then how little you must think of His power. If the temple itself sanctified the gold, as Christ said when He was chastising the Pharisees in Matthew, how much more would God Himself sanctify the womb that bore Him?
And Samuel, Revelation, Hebrews, and Christ Himself beg to differ that the departed don't know or care what's going on in the earthly realm.
Christ Himself said God is not a God of the dead, but of the living. Samuel knew what Saul was up to, Hebrews says we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses (remember the Hall of Faith in the preceding chapter--supposedly long-dead people), and Revelation talks about the prayers of the saints. Who are they praying for? Themselves?

Whatever floats your boat. The souls of the dead are in hades right now, either paradise or torments. Thet have no influence upon anything on earth any more. And prayers to the dead don't go past the ceiling.
