I've been wanting to open up my own business as selling knitted and crochet items. Such as scarves, beenies, and such. But I'm scared it won't work out. I'm trying to work out my own designs on stuff. I have so many things going through my mind constantly, design wise.
Any suggestionsand advise welcomed. :help:

:D I think just enjoying the knitting and the designing is all you need to do and just share what you are making with others. If they like it and want to buy one then you have started the business. Let them know you are interesting in making a business out of it and let people spread the word for you. Maybe have some fun making up an attractive flyer that expresses you and shows a photo of your scarves etc. If you don't have that ability I am sure there is someone out there with a computer that could help you design one. Have fun and keep a positive attitude along the way because that is what keeps the joy and the creative process going.

I have always wanted to do the same thing! I am doing some things out of my house, now, but its been all word of mouth. I embroidered my grandson's karate uniform, and I had a family that wanted their little girl's done, then that family owns a restrant-so I am embroidering their logo on their aprons!

Doing classes would be a really good way to get started-also, remember friends & family.
