There is no face on Mars, there is a eroded butte or mesa that at one angle can be said to look like a face. Regardless, Mars is part of the universe so you are only confirming my point.

There have been fossils found on Mars. The idea that there was once life there isn't unfounded. People just debate over whether or not the fossils are of something living.

Let me put it this way.

If no verifiable evidence exists to conclude something exists and a person decides they can not believe something exists, that is being objective, based on the lack of evidence. This is not to say, this same person may later acknowledge something exists, if the verifiable evidence becomes available.

If another person decides they believe something is true, without verifiable evidence to show it exists, they are being subjective.

That is false. There are few physicists that would claim that the evidence does not confirm that the universe if finely tuned for life.

But, given that appearance of design doesn't equate to design, how would you expect someone to supply evidence that a universe that appeared designed, wasn't?

Nope. Hasn't been disproven either. Might be solved in the future though, as in, our lifetimes. When equipment gets better

Sometimes patients come into the emergency room with what appears to be a heart attack.

The physicians then, look for verifiable evidence that the patient is experiencing a cardiac event. If they don't find any and the tests all come back negative, they can conclude the person wasn't having a heart attack.

Well then you would be wrong because there have been PhD level physicists that have come to the conclusion that the appearance of design supports design and have become theists due to it. There are also PhD level physicists that were theists and have said that the fine tuning confirmed that the universe was created.
