Is there ever really anyone truly there?

All those who are not eternal optimists have felt it- that terrible shadowy feeling that absolutely no one is really there for you? well of course God is always there and that should be enough right? right? well methinks God made us human and also made human nature, and it is human nature to seek love, friendship, and companionship. hence, in this life, is there not at least one person there that you can share all of your inner self with, be him or her a friend or spouse or whatever? Is there anyone who is ever going to be able to understand you? Is there ever going to be anyone who compliments you as perfectly as possible? Will there ever be this kind of person for you? for me?


The feeling that i describe is the one the ensues after one answers the above question with "no, not now, not never." I just recently got out of this -i guess you could say- slump, but today felt myself being pulled back in. so in the spirit of companionship, can any of you answer this question? Thanks for reading.

I do understand where you are coming from. I used to tell my mom that I was lonely and wished there was someone to talk to. She always says Im not alone to talk to God. Well, of course I knew that! And I did talk to God all the time. But at the same time, I think you are right in your thinking that God made us human, to interact with other humans and to feel love and friendship with others.

In saying that, Im always around. Anytime ya need a friend to talk to or just say HI, let me know
