  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is a Baptist song, but I think it is very beautiful, and it seems to reflect your feelings about this disappointing news.


Is there no possibility of local anesthesia? I had that for my cataract surgery, and also had a C-section with an epidural.

It is somewhat scary, but your eyelids are held so tightly that there's no way you can blink or move them.

Bene, my heart rate was way high, and has been for some time. But there are other issues too. Of course NO ONE can tell regarding death but the chances are, for various reasons that I will not luve to an old age. However, I am 68 now so not doing so bad.

I m not unhappy because I accept what happens and I cannot really put into words what I feel. All I know is it is exactly how I felt when diagnosed with cancer. It is the ancer drugs that have caused this. But in a sense, I feel relief. I just simply feel God with me. That is all I can say.

It's so sad what's happening to you.
I'll remember what you said about singing when you got cancer if it turns out I'm seriously ill.

This sounds dreadful but I think it's time we temporarily close this thread.

Anjelica has been incredibly brave telling us all about the problems she has.

She's at peace about the decision that was made.

Now she needs some space and a chance to think about this. She has a lot of thinking to do about the future - plans have to be made.

Please keep her in your prayers.

As she did earlier - she will talk with us all when she is ready
