Is there a relationship between John 15:1-11 and Revelation 14:18-20?

In John 15, Jesus describes Himself as the True Vines. In this parable, the branches bearing good fruit represent those who are in Christ, the True Vine. Who are the ones represented in the last three verses of Revelation 14?

Actually the ones who bear good fruit are those who in fact bear good fruit. Those who do not are pruned away.

I've heard a whole lot of explanations and theories on who the 144,000 of the Revelation are. The only one that really makes any sense to me is that it is a form of gematria where 100 represents water, 40 represents a dove, 4 represents a door and 1000 represents multitudes. The meaning in total is that the water of baptism brings the spirit in the form of a dove, which opens the door of heaven to the multitudes.

The harvest in last three verses of Revelation 14 comes after the 144,000 arrive with the Lamb. To ask the question differently, it surprises me that in Revelation 14 the ripe fruit represent totally something else than in John 15, given that the symbolism used in both is the vine with good fruit. Other symbolisms are used to have the same meanings—or at least similar ones—throughout the Bible. Could the parable be interpreted differently? Or could it be that the wrath of God would follow after the winepress is trampled upon?

See also Joel 3, specifically verse 13. The sickle harvest in those cases represent the harvest of the wicked. In Joel 3 it is even representing the nations that come against Jerusalem at the end.

About the 144,000... those are specifically what that Revelation 7 Scripture says, 12,000 out of each of the tribes of Israel mentioned there (Dan and Ephraim are missing, most likely because of how God through His prophets foretold of their falling away at the end. Dan was actually the first tribe to fall to idol worship back in Old Testament history).

Rev.7 is about God's sealing of His elect prior to the start of the "great tribulation". The 144,000 applies only to the seed of Israel, but the "great multitude" starting at Rev.7:9 represents the Gentiles that are 'sealed' with God's seal. The "great multitude" does NOT get raptured prior to the "great tribulation", which is how the teaching about the 144,000 gets messed up by a lot of preachers, specifically those preachers on the false pre-trib rapture theory.

Therefore, BOTH, the 144,000 seed of Israel, and the "great multitude" of Gentiles, together represent Christ's Church for the end that will... go through the "great tribulation" like Lord Jesus showed.
