This will usually occur when the Word is being preached, which is also usually in a public setting.

The question is relevant, for the very reason that propositional revelation does indeed exist.

Also, the fact that the Bible testifies to there being multiple spirits, supports the need for skepticism.

We are also instructed to test the spirits and to even make sure that it is the Spirit of Messiah within us.

In short, it is basic Christian doctrine that our spiritual experiences are to line up with Revelation.

Just like we cannot speak words without breath.

Let my re-phrase my fundamental observation/question.

Seems as though we have plenty of eye witnessed events for claimed contact from the Holy Spirit. So why then is it still possible to doubt revelation at all?

So, what I said seemed true and profound, yet it was really just shallow?

So, will you expound on this?

Maybe what you are getting hung up on is the simplicity of just believing what is written in the Bible.

It really is as simple as reading it daily, praying about it asking Him for guidance, and the obedience (fruits) will stem from this.
