From what I understand, Baptists view this as a sin. I don't know about the idolatry thing and your views on it but I know it helps control lustful thoughts if I have religious pictures or a crucifix in the room. Or read the Bible if you feel tempted. But it is a normal thing that many people your age struggle with. Don;t worry to much about it.

It's wrong, bud. It's a sin. And we all worship the same God with the same Bible so the whole denominational thing is a clever joke. Will God say by Catholics do this and hey Methodist do that? Lets not kid ourselves here.

I wasn't trying to trick anyone. Denominations disagree on various issues. Only one is right of course, but most people believe they are and no one changes their lives on an online internet forum.
