An equality of status, level, or value; equal footing.

Traditional Church Protocol (Par)

Which would God’s will show us a correct “quiet and peaceable”,“contented” life in the Holy Spirit is, a spiritually aggressive inconvenience that might step into and challenge known longstanding protocols, or, remain indifferent with the norm?

“Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, who also declared to us your love in the Spirit. For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:7-10)

Following known traditions are most always good and safe protocols. But when you combine those last two terms together; “fruitful” and “increase”, under faithful leadership being increased by the Holy Spirit, all former thought on the norms of tradition must bow to accept a distinct possibility of change.

Thoughts?

Here are the fruits of His Holy Spirit. We can check our walk with Him by the virtues bestowed upon the beliver no matter the situation. Blessings.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I did check. And you know, I don't think I have ever noticed, v23 'self-control' is not only there for defense for walking with Him, but also to procure such things as shown in the OP, namely,

Fruitful
Increase
