There is no getting around the Ten Commandments, plain and simple. That is quite literally set in stone forever. Jesus did not break the Sabbath, and he specifically told us very clearly to heed the Commandments. So it's uncontroversial.

That is why Sunday has been a common day when most people are off work, though it gets less popular as the world becomes more secular. Kinda ironic, really. The only consistent thing now is Sunday worship.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree(Gal 3:13)
But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law. (Gal 5:18)

To go back under the law amounts to committing spiritual harlotry. Also you would have to keep the whole law. There are many more ramifications. I would not want to touch the law as the consequences for the Christian are too dire.

Who was here besides Jewish people? Would the disciples and the Pharisees hearing this understand it to mean "mankind" instead of "man"?

The Sabbath was made for a specific "man", as we have seen in Exodus 31 and other places . The Sabbath was not made for God, but man. The Sabbath is not eternal, as it was "made". Jesus is not addressing the origions of the Sabbath, but how it should be observed. Jesus here compares the Sabbath rules to other ceremonial rules such as eating shewbread, which all ceased at the cross. Jesus is not subject to the Sabbath, but the other way around. We are now in Jesus as a hier and as such we are no longer
subject to the Sabbath either.

You sure place a lot of importance on this passage that doesn't even say what you want it too.

Isaiah 66:22-23, "For as the New Heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath Day to Another, shall ALL flesh come to worship me, saith the Lord."

If these things can't be refuted than maybe that's telling us we need to repent and start remembering to keep the Sabbath holy as God commands.

Anyone who takes a little time to read their Bibles will soon begin to see that God desires and longs for a people who will keep His commandments because they love Him.

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

Anyone who says they know God yet they don't keep His commandments doesn't really know Him.

What Jesus did throughout his ministry was the antithesis of the Law, and fulfilled the true spiritual meaning of the law. The visible church has yet to come to grips with this fact. How very sad.

There is never any arguments on those regarding man's treatment of his fellow man... where the arguments come in is on the four that deal with the relationship with God. In these four, you find those who use His name in vain, kiss the stone toes in reverence, venerating the image, changing the day which He declared was His for His children to keep and having other things more important than God in their lives... Is there something wrong the relationship?

FWIW, you can put me down on the side of the 4th of 10 Instructions inscribed on stone tablets and stored in the Ark of the Covenant has not been been revoked, nor nailed to a cross, but is sadly like so much of His Torah prescriptions ignored by so many religious people.

Since Yah's Messiyah told us that not one jot nor tittle has been done away with, Yah's Torah ought to remain hugely significant to those who claim to revere Him. It appears that most of the arguments made to justify dismissing Yah's Torah in contradiction to Messiyah instruction are based on the letters of Shaul / Paul of Tarsus.

While I'm sure that I'm in a very small minority, until I can be certain that Paul was not a false prophet he now appear to me to be, when Paul contradicts or abrogates Messiyah's validation of Yah's Torah, and Yah's offer of Covenant relationship He defines within it, I for one choose to side with His Messiyah.

Visionary, you are correct, but the curious question is how did so many people who claim to revere Yah, come to reject His seventh day period of rest and reflection, in favor of the day solar Pagan deities were worshipped?

Some people dont quite understand that covenants are the conditions that God has established His requirement for righteousness from generation to generations.

If you can prove that sabbath was kept before Ex 16, let us see your evidence?
The liar is the one that denies clear scripture, that sabbath was a sign between God and one nation. It could not have been given for the world to keep.

You mean Exodus 16 which is before Mount Sinai?

The fourth Commandment has been fulfilled, in Christ.

Exodus 33:14

And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Jesus said -

Matthew 11:28

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Being "in Christ", who is The Lord of The Sabbath is the place of rest.

Being born again and filled with God's Presence is the promise of the Sabbath Rest.

That's why Jesus said -

Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."

and again

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me;

Jesus is our rest! Jesus is The Covenant!

"I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, Isaiah 42:6

The Fourth Commandment has been Fulfilled!

HE IS OUR REST! HE IS OUR COVENANT!

And these two statement should be saying the same thing.. He is the covenant, you will find rest in Him, His Sabbath is your sign of the covenant with Him and you will rest on His Sabbath... since He is not only Lord of the Sabbath, but your Lord.
