Don't be surprised if your perception of what is "icky" changes after you have been married for a while.
No it won't.
The HIV and AIDS viruses are so prevelant in Africa and I recently read an indepth study on why.
What is happening in the African culture is they see anal sex (sodomy) as not an adulterous act. They also use sodomy as a way to prevent pregnancies in Africa. Penile/vaginal intercourse is kept strictly for their spouses though they use sodomy on their spouses as well to keep the population down.
However, in many of these 3rd world countries where AIDS/HIV is spreading like wild fire among the heterosexual population is because many are so poor they turn to prostitution to make a little money. Also, when men in Africa leave their families to find work, they often stop at prostitution houses along the way to finding work and then back along their trail back home stopping at houses of prostitution.
If there wasn't sodomy happening in the world, the threat of AIDS/HIV would be greatly reduced. Thus, I see this act can cause death.
All those people who bought into sodomy as an alternative sexual act the report said now may have at most only 20 years to live. This was a secular report on Africa, not a Christian report. I have seen similar things on CNN, etc.
So, no I won't be involved with that nor will my husband to be.
It's a disease rampant area of the body period.
I had to undergo rectal exams, so I know it's very uncomfortable and somewhat even painful. I didn't even like a doctor doing that to me, but it was a female doctor who was checking for a cyst on my ovary. I eventually did have surgery to remove a benign cyst which was causing me a lot of pain.
However, the rectal exams are awful! They can feel the ovaries through the rectum of a woman in medical science, however. That's why a woman has to go through them sometimes.
Also, how long is one a carrier of HIV before it could be spread to someone else?
Also, a fairly famous movie star was fairly recently diagnosed with rectal cancer which is said to be spread via an STD.
Just broadening this discussion a little....
