It's beneficial to the bodies of many people to spill blood.

High blood pressure can be treated without drugs by drawing blood, and so can other diseases like hemachromatosis. Many people without illness also "drain" their "vital force" to donate it to others in need.

Weirdly, the analogy still makes sense for masturbation. In terms of men, it helps clear out the body and plays a role in keeping the prostate healthy, and they can touch for the good of other people: sperm donation, which can help couples who are having trouble conceiving.

There may be a million relatively useful ways for a man to use his sperm and or blood. Most religious injunctions aren't actually absolute in the sense that they apply to all people at all times. Rather, they are guidelines provided to fallen spirit-souls for their gradual upliftment. Understanding one's relationship with the Absolute is critical to understanding how to apply the spectrum of scriptural injunctions available.

How could masturbation not be a sin if undressing somebody with one's eyes or having lustful thoughts are

The simple answer is, yes, masturbation is a sin. It's something to overcome, no doubt. Nobody got to heaven by masturbating. At least I'm unaware of any such champ/chump.

The very need to touch is to enjoy an inability to control the body
What's wrong with recognizing the fact that we're sexual beings with sexual urges? I don't see what's inherently wrong about not attempting to repress a specific natural urge when no one is harmed in the process. If someone tells me that they can hold their breath for 90 seconds or that they went 8 hours without peeing during a road trip, it doesn't raise my opinion of them. It shows a certain dedication to controlling one's body and doing something out of the ordinary, but I don't see what makes it good in a moral sense.

It is an object of perpetuating sexual vanity and corrupts the soul. Saint Augustine is on my side with this, and he was no novice on these matters to say the least.

Of course, if you don't believe in such a thing as vices and souls, then sure, there doesn't seem to be anything inherently wrong about it.

Of course not, but I didn't see any problem with it when I did believe in those concepts. I guess I don't see what's vain or corrupt about it. It just seems natural to me, and amoral.

Many have stated that masturbation is a sin.Nowhere in the Bible is it mentioned.
Now to reality a friend of mine who has been married for at least six years they have been desperately trying to have his wife become pregnant. They both went to a specialist to get help and the doctor had performed physical examinations of both of them. Then the doctor told my friend that a sperm sample must be attained to see if the sperm is viable. The wife had her body checked to be able to conceive.
Now came the situation they strongly believed that masturbation was wrong. The doctor said they needed the sperm sample to rule out any problems. So the couple prayed earnestly about this and agreed to have this done so the wife helped him touch to get a sample. The results were he had a low sperm count.More questions were asked and they realized that after changing his clothing from tight underwear and pants. The next sample of sperm was better. Now she is pregnant with their first child. They told me that they thanked GOD for letting her get pregnant and now have a different outlook about masturbation.

I should have collected all the negative words and phrases that religious people have come up with to make masturbation sound wrong. Self polluting, corrupting, spilling ones seed, selfishness and all the others. My personal experience has been that not one of them is true. Indeed, I have found the opposite to be true, that its been healthy, fun, joyous, pleasurable, and fills my heart with thanksgiving at how wonderfully God made me.
