It just keeps getting better. I don't have to prove anything, the world is proof. I'm going to have to remember that one. Masturbation leads to abortion and the world is proof of that. Guess I can't argue against that.

It is a false assumption that everyone masturbates. Here, as masturbation... becomes more accepted behavior throughout time, various serious societal ills have emerged, including divorce and single parent households. You require a double blind study to see that moral relativism pertaining to sexuality is eroding families and their values in society. Many people do not.

Self gratification shows a certain inability to control oneself, and accepting that as fact is part of the societal illness in its use of sexuality, to the destruction of family and life.

That is the slippery slope. And it is slippery, and many people slip down it.

You're asking for a double blind study, about something many people wouldn't discuss candidly with an interviewer.

Maybe we should get one going, but it would take years to complete.

Seriously, masturbation puts your sexuality in control. How can it in any way show an inability to control yourself?

Lets take this for example. A young couple in love, about to become adults. At this age hormones are swelling and both of them have a much increased sex drive. However, they both want to wait. Both of them are also against masturbating. Without the sexual release, much more sexual tension builds up between them. One night something clicks and they go past that point they promised they wouldn't go past until they were well prepared.. and they end up having sex.

And on this day they are truly prepared, because as we know very well, sometimes sex just happens...and it does for them on this day..

(and now i can go into my own slippery slope where she has a kid or an abortion...blah blah blah and so on....but I won't)

Now... Don't you think that this situation could have been avoided if they had released the sexual tension by themselves? Don't you think it shows quite a bit more control to stimulate yourself rather than letting all that tension linger?

As far as the original post, at worst excessive masturbation might lead to temporary loss of vision but otherwise I think it's ok.
