What is upsetting to many Catholics are the harsh sentiments regarding the Mother of our Lord.

WE look upon Mary as highly favored. Just as we would not ridicule, nor denigrate Moses, John, Peter, John the Baptist.
We do not comprehend how Mary the Mother and essense of all virtue is held in such a seemingly low regard with our Protestant brethren.

She reads our hearts...how sad it seems that ppl do not treat her with favor as Christ did and naturally still DOES.

This is the second time you said 'you wouldnt look into Catholicism' because of X, Y, Z...

If the Spirit is compelling you to research the Church, then that is a decision between yourself and the One calling you to do so. We should not deny the Spirit.[On the premice of your posts and not an assumption on my behalf]

But I will say this, I think nothing very badly about the ppl in GT, but the anti Mary puts me off.

So perhaps there is a 'tie' here.

now who is being silly?? You can stop anytime.

I do not think it is silly to ask what is minor. What is minor to you can very important to me.

Is predestination vs free will minor? George Whitfield taught that God chose some to turn to Christ and be saved, while God chose others to reject Christ and go to hell. John Wesley taught that God desires all men to come to Christ, and that we each have a free will to accept or reject Christ. John Wesley said to Whitfield "Your God is my Devil". It does not sound that this was a minor thing. And yet today we have some denominations who teach that God predestine some to Hell and other denominations that man has a free will to turn to Christ.

I myself do not think this is a minor thing.

Everything I said was purely from scriptures.
Do you disagree?
And let me further show you.

The humble will be exalted.
When God says 'will be exalted' He refers to our Life in His kingdom. For we know the humble do not live exalted lives, or they would not be humble.

Furthermore, scriptures tell us she will read hearts.

Do you have a seperate understanding than the ancient Church on this?

That is the road of salvation yes. BUT, say a person accepts the Lord...and wala before he can get baptized gets killed. Is he out of heaven cause he didn't get baptized??

Well, since I do not know anyone's judgement....I will use the teachings of scriptures and the early Christians to say that anyone not baptized cannot share in the Kingdom.

Otherwise, it is not my choice, but what has been written. And I am not in the judging department. BUT unless we are baptized, we cannot share in Christ's death.

Peace.
